Logan had set up his classes, as he did every year, so that there was a single free period every day. When he and Josh had texted, he knew he had a free period at the end of the day, and with the promise of something he would surely enjoy, he made his way back to his dorm rather than hitting the library as he would have normally done. His last couple of days had been rather low, and now today he was in a fantastic high that he couldn’t explain. With that in mind, he had his meds on hand just in case he should honestly need them. Otherwise, he would continue on as if nothing were off.
When he got up to his dorm, he shed his Dalton jacket and loosened his tie, leaving it on as had been suggested in the texts. He rolled up the sleeves of his shirt so that his forearms were bare, stripping off his shoes and socks as well, and set about cleaning up what little mess there was in the room at all. He had barely anything with him on campus in the first place, so there wasn’t much to put away, but he figured it was better to have a clean room when Josh got there, despite the fact that the other had seen his room at its worst before.
Upon finishing, Josh still had yet to arrive, and so Logan made his way to his cd rack, flipping through until he found the old mix he’d made from when Josh had attended Dalton. The corners of his mouth quirked up into a smile, and he set the cd into the radio, pressing play. He was just starting to sing when the telltale knock came at the door, and he danced playfully over to the door, slipping it open with a smile.
