Logan got the confirmation from Bailey and flagged down a cab to take him to the boy’s house. He could remember coming up to see him a few times before, but this time felt… different, he supposed. Bailey was in the middle of something extremely rough, and Logan was never quite sure how to handle things when someone else was low. He hoped that, through unmedicated clarity, he could help the boy to feel better before they finally went back to Dalton.
When the cab pulled up to his location, Logan handed the driver the allotted money and stepped out of the car, slinging his backpack over his shoulder with practiced ease, and made his way up to the door. He knocked loudly, guessing that it would be a housekeeper rather than Bailey himself to open the door, and slipped his free hand into his pocket, putting a charming smile on his face.
